Closure: How might you use a wiki in your classroom?

wiki's are a good way to 'limit' the internet. Students and teachers can find good material and links and keep this information on the wiki.
We can use wiki's to display supplemental videos or multimedia to help enrich a lesson.
We can use wiki's to help students review material for unit tests and quizzes.
Students can share their knowledge of math concepts with other students by adding to the wiki.
We can use wikis to begin study of new objectives
I will use the teacher tube to find a video about careers for my pre-voc ed class. The one I found on united streaming was BORING, so maybe this will be a little better.
I look forward to integrating windows moviemaker in class creating ads or discussing personal finance.
Using the smartboard capture application could be a good thing to post on a wiki for students to refer to.
I like the idea of embedding the teacher tubes in the wiki. It is less distracting for the students.
Wikis can help to review information.
I like the way they limit the students to the content you want
Wikis are a good way for teachers to interact with students where they can review materials and comment. They could also leave other ways to solve equations and help eachother.
use it for a review
Wikis are a good tool to engage students plus interact with the teacher.
I can think of multiple ways this can be used in my classroom. One thing that came to mind was a demonstration that was just used by students to demonstrate how the respiratory system works.
Though, all of this at times is overwhelming
